A Beautiful Disaster

This is the very first painting that introduced me to gouache. I somehow obtained a cheap starter set and fell in love. The vibrancy and fluidity were so much fun and it continues to be my go to medium – even when I depart from it, I always come back to it. This poor ol’ piece is cracking and is signed (née) THALL ’02, but it still brings me joy to this day. Prints available on Etsy.
